About Mumbai Home Tutor
We help Mumbai families find a verified home tutor who lives nearby, and we help good teachers find students close to home.
Who we are
Mumbai Home Tutor connects parents with qualified tutors who teach at your home. We know how much time Mumbai families lose to travel, so we match every child with a tutor from the same neighbourhood. Your child learns at home, at their own pace, and evenings are not lost in traffic.
We match on board, class and subject, because a tutor who knows the ICSE paper pattern is different from one who knows the Maharashtra State Board syllabus. We support CBSE, ICSE / ISC, Maharashtra State Board, IB and IGCSE students in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
How we choose tutors
- Every tutor is interviewed and ID-checked.
- Tutors take a sample lesson before they are shortlisted.
- We match by board, class, subject and locality.
What parents can expect
- A free demo class before you decide anything.
- A replacement tutor at no cost if you are not happy.
- A short monthly update on topics covered and test scores.
- No registration fee for parents.

A message for parents and teachers
To parents
Every child learns differently. A good tutor does not only explain a chapter; they notice where your child is stuck and make it feel possible again. We will keep matching, checking and listening until your child looks forward to the next class. Your trust matters more to us than any enquiry, and you can always tell us if something is not working.
To teachers
Teaching shapes a child’s confidence, and you do that work every day. We want to give you students near your home, clear timings and respectful parents, so you can spend your energy on teaching and not on travelling. If you are a qualified tutor in Mumbai, we would be glad to hear from you.
